You say ( http://www.webhero.org/System/registry_browseragent.htm )that you can not change the User Agent string for internet explorer. This is incorrect. You can change it quite drastically -- even changing it so that IE on Windows machines so that it looks like a Mac using Netscape.
Here is a win2000/xp registry entry that will make your win2000/xp running IE look like Netscape 4.x running on a Mac PowerPC.

I notice you use the word "depreciated" by mistake.
It's a good word, and it happens to be appropriate,
too, when refering to things which have lost value.
But the kinds of HTML that are no longer approved
are characterized in the literature as "deprecated"--
which means "disparaged," the opposite of
recommended.
